Marathon Hotel — Policy Notice

Dear Guest,

We'd like to clarify that Marathon Hotel is only responsible for the amenities, services, and facilities described on our official website, www.HotelMarathon.com. Information appearing on third-party websites, social media pages, review sites, or other internet sources — such as claims of a complimentary kayak, mini golf pass, heated pool, or balcony — is not maintained or controlled by us and may be outdated or inaccurate.

This Policy Notice is part of the Terms and Conditions and is binding on the Guest from the time of booking.

1. Rates

1.1 The Hotel's rates are non-refundable. By booking, the Guest acknowledges and agrees that no refund shall be issued in the event of cancellation, modification, or no-show.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

2.1 Standard check-in: 15:00–19:30.

2.2 Standard check-out: 11:00.

3. Smoking and Vaping

3.1 Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all interior and designated public areas of the Hotel.

3.2 Pursuant to Government of New Brunswick regulations, smoking is prohibited within nine (9) meters of any entrance, window, or air intake of the Hotel.

4. Alcohol

4.1 The sale and service of alcoholic beverages on the premises are governed by the Liquor Control Act of New Brunswick. Alcoholic beverages purchased from the bar may only be consumed within the Hotel's licensed restaurant, bar, lounge, and deck areas.

4.2 Guests may not bring outside alcoholic beverages into these areas, and consumption of alcohol in any unlicensed area of the Hotel is strictly prohibited.

5. Restaurant and Dining Services

5.1 The restaurant operates during high season only (closed one day per week) and is closed entirely during low season.

5.2 When the restaurant is open, breakfast, coffee, dinner, and bar services are not included in the room rate and are charged separately by the restaurant.

6. Pets

6.1 Pets are strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and common areas, in order to protect guests with allergies and to maintain sanitary standards. This policy does not apply to certified service animals assisting guests with disabilities.

7. Compliance with Hotel Policies

The Hotel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel any reservation without liability or refund. Grounds for cancellation include, but are not limited to: failure to provide valid identification, credit card issues, operational circumstances affecting the Hotel, or violation of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law.
